Many believers operate in a mere form of godliness, relying on natural might or intellectual knowledge, yet lacking true spiritual strength. Success or financial wealth is not your ultimate purpose, and true power does not come from self-effort.
As revealed through Scripture, God’s promises are never delayed and will be completely fulfilled. When we move out of chaos into His order by discovering our purpose in Christ, the anointing of the Holy Spirit clothes us, smearing us with His virtue and power. This power is not given for us to show off or seek personal glory; it is given so that God gets all the glory through lives marked by victory, deliverance, and freedom. When you discover your purpose, His supernatural power will naturally begin to flow in and through your life.

God does not desire for us to live in spiritual chaos or empty religious forms. True power is directly tied to understanding your God-given purpose. You were created by God, for God, and equipped with the Holy Spirit so that His supernatural power can operate through your natural life. When you step into the purpose He prepared for you beforehand, the anointing breaks bondages, brings order out of darkness, and produces victory so that God receives all the glory.
Heavenly Father, we thank You that Your words are never delayed and that every promise You have spoken over our lives will be completely fulfilled. Forgive us for the times we have settled for a form of godliness while relying on our own strength. Help us to find our true purpose in Christ and to walk in the good works You prepared for us before the foundation of the world.

- Are you measuring your life's success by worldly achievements, wealth, or comfort rather than walking in the specific "good works" God prepared for you?
- In what ways might you be relying on your own intellect, talents, or routines rather than depending on the Holy Spirit?
- Have you settled for a "form of godliness"—going through the motions of church or religious habits—without experiencing or expecting God's supernatural power?
- How does knowing that the anointing exists to glorify God, rather than elevate yourself, change the way you view your daily roles and talents?
Practical Application: Applying This to Your Life
To step out of spiritual passivity and move into purpose and power, practice these steps throughout the week:
- Daily Surrender: Begin each morning by asking the Holy Spirit to clothe you with His power, surrendering your own plans and asking Him to direct your steps toward His good works.
- Identify Your Origin, Identity, and Destiny: Write down who you are in Christ (Ephesians 2:10). Remind yourself daily that your identity comes from God, your origin is in Him, and your destiny is secure.
- Shift the Focus to God's Glory: In everything you do—whether working, serving, or worshipping—intentionally dedicate your efforts to glorifying God rather than seeking personal praise.
- Seek the Continuous Supply of the Holy Spirit: Spend dedicated time in prayer and the Word, allowing the Spirit to continuously refresh and fill you, ensuring you do not run on empty natural strength.
- Step Out in Faith: When presented with difficult circumstances or opportunities to serve, rely on the power working within you (Ephesians 3:20) to bring order and light into situations of chaos.

- Focus on God's Goodness: When God works through you or answers prayer, point the credit back to Him so that those around you see His power and love in action.
